Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Owna. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Owna is operated by TODO: legal entity name (“Owna”, “we”, “us”).

What Owna does

Owna helps freelancers and small studios set aside tax and bill reserves, see a “safe to spend” balance, track transactions, and create and send invoices. Owna is a tracking and organisation tool — it does not move, hold, or transfer your money.

Not tax or accounting advice

Owna's reserve percentages, tax estimates, and safe-to-spend figures are informational estimates based on the settings and data you provide. They are not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and may not match what you actually owe. Always confirm your obligations with a qualified accountant or your tax authority. You are responsible for your own filings and payments.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.

Plans & billing

• Owna offers a free plan (Solo) and paid plans (Owner €12/month, Studio €29/month).
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no uploading of content you don't have the right to use, and no using Owna to defraud others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data

You own the data you put into Owna. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data from Settings.

Availability & liability

We work hard to keep Owna reliable but provide it “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owna is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for tax penalties, interest, or miscalculations arising from your reliance on the estimates the product provides. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Owna and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to comply with the law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling then follows the Privacy Policy.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of TODO: governing jurisdiction.
